The four operating units (OUs) of the Philippine Council for Agriculture and Fisheries (PCAF), headed by their respective division chiefs, sketch out 5-year plans and activities for the development of agri-fishery on May 21-24, 2018 at PCAF Conference Room B, Apacible Hall, Quezon City.

The four-day workshop aimed to identify new strategies and intervention in fulfilling the agency’s mandate. All sections were encouraged to be judicious in the use of resources, for the year 2019-2023, in carrying out the respective divisions’ functions.

In her opening message, PCAF Executive Director Sarah Gutierrez-Cayona expressed her gratitude for the commitment and expertise of the employees. She reminded the concerned staff to be more aggressive in working together towards the common goal of the agency.

In addition, Planning, Monitoring and Knowledge Management Division Chief Estrella Tulay emphasized the importance of setting priorities in crafting the strategic plans. She then suggested that all OUs must refer to the agency’s mandates in identifying activities and priority programs.
